Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using the Heroo website, mobile application, or any related services (collectively, the “Service”).
The Service is operated in the United Arab Emirates by or on behalf of the applicable Heroo operating entity and, where disclosed at checkout or in the app, payments may be processed by BORODACH BARBERSHOP GENTS SALON L.L.C. or another disclosed entity acting as the payment collection entity for the Service.
By accessing or using the Service, creating an account, browsing listings, submitting a booking request, or making a payment, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.
1. About the Service
Heroo is a digital platform designed to help users discover and request bookings for leisure, entertainment, hospitality, wellness, sports, food, and other real-life experiences.
At certain stages of development, including limited pilot, testing, beta, or pre-commercial phases, some features of the Service may operate in a partially manual format. During such stages, not all listings, availability windows, prices, schedules, merchant information, or booking flows may be live-synced, automatically confirmed, or continuously updated.
Heroo may, at its discretion, review booking requests manually, contact users directly, contact venues or service providers directly, and approve, decline, or cancel requests where fulfillment is not possible.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service independently.
If you are under 18, you may use the Service only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.
By using the Service, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
3. User Accounts
To access certain features of the Service, you may need to create an account.
You agree to:
  • provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • keep your login credentials secure
  • update your information when necessary
  • accept responsibility for activity under your account
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain false information, misuse the Service, violate these Terms, or create legal, commercial, operational, or reputational risk.
4. Listings and Platform Information
Heroo may display listings, descriptions, images, videos, pricing, categories, schedules, locations, estimated availability, and other information relating to experiences, venues, merchants, operators, and service providers.
While we aim to present useful and relevant information, Heroo does not guarantee that any listing content is complete, current, accurate, live-synced, continuously available, or immediately bookable.
During testing or pilot phases in particular, certain information may be manually compiled, estimated, delayed, adapted for presentation purposes, or subject to change without notice.
You should rely only on the final written confirmation sent by Heroo in relation to a specific booking request.
5. Booking Requests and Confirmation
Submitting a request through Heroo does not, by itself, create an instant or guaranteed confirmed reservation, unless Heroo expressly confirms the booking to you.
When you submit a booking request through the Service:
  • your request may enter a pending review state
  • Heroo may manually review the request
  • Heroo may contact the relevant venue, operator, or provider
  • Heroo may contact you for clarification or updates
  • Heroo may approve, decline, or cancel the request
A booking is considered confirmed only when Heroo sends you an explicit confirmation by email, SMS, in-app message, WhatsApp, phone, or another written communication method used by Heroo.
Until such confirmation is issued, your request remains a pending booking request only.
6. Payments
If you submit a payment through the Service, you authorize the applicable payment collection entity disclosed at checkout, in the app, or in related transaction materials to charge the amount shown for the requested booking.
Depending on the stage of the Service and the structure of the relevant booking flow, payments may be processed by BORODACH BARBERSHOP GENTS SALON L.L.C. or another disclosed operating entity.
You understand and agree that:
  • a payment may be collected before final booking confirmation
  • payment does not by itself mean that the booking has been confirmed
  • a payment may relate to a pending booking request during pilot or manual review flows
  • the Service may later confirm, reject, or cancel the request
All payment processing is also subject to the terms of the applicable payment processor, card network, wallet provider, Apple Pay, Google Pay, bank, or issuer.
7. Refund Policy7.1 Unconfirmed booking requests
If your booking request is not confirmed, Heroo will initiate a 100% refund to your original payment method.
If a booking request is not confirmed within 24 hours of payment or before the scheduled start time, whichever is earlier, the request will be treated as unconfirmed and the refund process will be initiated.
7.2 Cancelled requests or unavailable fulfillment
If Heroo cancels a pending or confirmed booking request because fulfillment is unavailable, impossible, impractical, or no longer supported, Heroo may issue:
  • a full refund
  • a reschedule option
  • a credit, voucher, goodwill benefit, or similar remedy
unless otherwise agreed with you in writing.
7.3 User cancellations
If a booking has already been confirmed, cancellation eligibility may depend on:
  • the nature of the experience
  • timing before the scheduled start time
  • venue or provider constraints
  • whether a perishable, timed, or reserved slot has already been allocated
Heroo may publish or communicate separate cancellation rules for particular experiences. Where no separate confirmed-booking cancellation rule is stated, Heroo will determine the appropriate remedy acting reasonably and in good faith.
7.4 Refund timing
Once Heroo initiates a refund, the time required for the funds to appear in your account may vary depending on your bank, card issuer, wallet provider, payment processor, or payment network.
8. Pilot, Testing, and Manual Fulfilment
Heroo may operate certain parts of the Service in pilot, testing, beta, pre-launch, launch, or limited-availability modes.
During such periods:
  • some booking flows may be manual
  • some confirmations may require human review
  • some listed experiences may ultimately be unavailable
  • some bookings may require follow-up contact after payment
  • some requests may be declined even after initial submission
  • some user journeys may be used to evaluate product-market fit, demand, UX, or operational feasibility
By using the Service during such periods, you acknowledge and accept that the Service may not function as a fully automated live marketplace at all times.
9. Communications
By using the Service, you agree that Heroo may contact you by:
  • email
  • phone
  • SMS
  • WhatsApp
  • push notification
  • in-app messaging
  • other reasonable communication channels associated with your account
Heroo may use these channels to:
  • verify booking details
  • request clarification
  • confirm or reject a booking request
  • provide refund updates
  • send operational notices
  • provide support
  • request feedback
  • offer promotions, credits, or goodwill gestures
10. User Conduct
You agree not to:
  • use the Service unlawfully or fraudulently
  • submit false booking requests
  • abuse refund flows
  • impersonate another person
  • misuse promotions or credits
  • interfere with the Service, its infrastructure, or other users
  • upload or transmit harmful code or malicious material
  • use the Service in a way that creates legal, operational, or reputational risk for Heroo, its operators, or any venue or provider
We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate access where misuse is suspected.
11. Third-Party Venues, Providers, and Experiences
Heroo may present experiences relating to third-party venues, operators, merchants, service providers, or brands.
Unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing, Heroo does not guarantee that any third party is a formal partner, contracted supplier, or continuously integrated merchant of the platform.
Heroo may act as a discovery platform, request-routing platform, booking intermediary, lead-generation channel, payment collection interface, or customer support layer, depending on the relevant experience and stage of platform development.
The ultimate fulfillment of any confirmed booking may depend on the relevant third-party venue, operator, merchant, or service provider.
12. No Guarantee of Availability
Heroo does not guarantee:
  • uninterrupted availability of the Service
  • uninterrupted availability of any listed experience
  • error-free content
  • continuous live synchronization
  • exact availability at the time of browsing
  • fulfillment of every booking request
We may modify, remove, suspend, decline, or discontinue listings, categories, experiences, booking flows, or features at any time.
13. Promotional Content and Service Presentation
Heroo may use platform content, descriptions, visual materials, videos, and user interface elements to present the Service and improve product usability.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Heroo makes no warranty that every listing element, visual representation, schedule, or descriptive element will always exactly reflect the final fulfilled experience at every stage of platform development.
Users should evaluate the Service based on the final booking status, final operational communication, and final confirmation received from Heroo.
14. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design, structure, interface, branding, platform logic, and original Heroo content, is owned by Heroo and/or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, reverse engineer, scrape, republish, or commercially exploit any part of the Service without prior written permission.
If you believe that any content appearing on the Service infringes your rights, please contact us at admin@herooapp.com with sufficient detail and we will review the matter.
15. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
Heroo disclaims all warranties, whether express or implied, including warranties of availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted operation.
Nothing in these Terms excludes any non-waivable rights available to consumers under applicable law.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Heroo, its operators, affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, agents, and disclosed payment collection entities shall not be liable for:
  • unconfirmed booking requests
  • venue unavailability
  • schedule mismatches
  • listing inaccuracies
  • delayed confirmations
  • failed manual matching
  • technical interruptions
  • indirect, incidental, consequential, exemplary, or special damages
  • loss of profits, opportunity, goodwill, business, or data
Where liability cannot be excluded, Heroo’s aggregate liability shall be limited to the amount paid by you for the specific affected booking request giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
17. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Heroo, its operators, affiliates, personnel, and disclosed payment collection entities from and against any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising out of:
  • your misuse of the Service
  • your breach of these Terms
  • your violation of applicable law
  • your violation of the rights of any third party
18. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend, limit, or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, where reasonably necessary to protect users, venues, providers, the platform, payment systems, or our legal and commercial interests.
You may stop using the Service at any time.
Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including payment, refunds, disclaimers, liability limitations, intellectual property, indemnity, and dispute-related provisions.
19. Privacy and Data
Your use of the Service may involve the collection and processing of personal data for account creation, support, booking operations, communications, refunds, fraud prevention, product improvement, legal compliance, and related business purposes.

20. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
Updated Terms become effective when posted on the website or made available through the Service, unless a later effective date is stated.
Your continued use of the Service after updated Terms are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
21. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws applicable in the United Arab Emirates, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights that may apply under applicable law.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the competent courts of the United Arab Emirates, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
